Can a 6week old kitten wander off?

A stray cat had two babies on my porch and has been here ever since infer her through her pregnancy and now her kitten(s) and her are healthy. This morning I only found 1 kitten with her, I searched everywhere...I can't find the other...they are 5-6weeks old my question is can the kitten have wandered off?
